Del Bosque: Spain job will be my last

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has indicated he will be using one of his three votes in the FIFA Ballon d'Or trophy for Best Coach 2012 to vote for Pep Guardiola but not Real Madrid's Jose Mourinho.

Guardiola left his role as coach of the Blaugrana following the 2011-2012 season in order to take a break from football.

Despite this, Del Bosque feels the 41-year-old deserves his nomination for the great work he did during his reign at Camp Nou where he guided the Blaugrana to 14 trophies in four years.

"I have chosen Guardiola because he's Spanish and for everything that he has done. He has won three titles this year. When I choose a coach, I do it for his sporting merits as well as his behavior," he said.

The 61-year-old also gave a vote to Roberto Di Matteo acknowledging his achievements while at the helm of Chelsea and Italy's Cesare Prandelli.

"Because of what he [Di Matteo] did with Chelsea after coming in halfway through the season," and Prandelli because "I chose him to give a nod to national teams."

However, Madrid boss Jose Mourinho was not on Del Bosque's nomination list despite steering Los Blancos to the Primera Division title last season.

He added: "I don't have anything against Real Madrid or Jose Mourinho. Nobody can tell me what
Madridismo is because I know very well."
