Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical:

Davis and Evans combine for 54, Pelicans defeat Bucks

Anthony Davis finished with 29 points and notched 14 rebounds, while Tyreke Evans added 25 points and 7 assists to help the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Milwaukee Bucks, 112-104. The Pelicans shot 42-84 (50.0%) from the field and turned it over on only nine possessions. This is only the second win for New Orleans (25-37) in its last 10 games.

Davis shot 12-22 and converted 5-6 from the free throw line. Khris Middleton had a big game for Milwaukee despite the loss, scoring 25 points on 10-17 shooting, including 3-8 from behind the arc. John Henson contributed 12 points and 6 rebounds.

After putting up a sparkling assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.44, the Pelicans are 3-2 on the season when eclipsing 2.50 in this category. However, the Bucks are winless (0-3) when allowing their opponents to achieve such a lofty ratio.

This drops Milwaukee (12-49) to 0-2 versus New Orleans on the season.

Coming up, the Pelicans play the Denver Nuggets, who are 27-34 on the season. The Bucks meet the Washington Wizards, currently sitting at 32-29 this year. The Pelicans are 1-1 versus Denver this season. The Bucks have a 1-1 record against Washington this season.
