David Wright: (Ribs) Possibly Out For Opening Day
Update: Wright has an intercostal strain and will cease activity for three-to-five days, Anthony DiComo of reports.

Recommendation: The Mets haven't ruled Wright out for Opening Day, but according to, manager Terry Collins is bracing for the possibility Wright won't be ready to start the year. The 30-year-old third baseman led the WBC with 10 RBI this spring, but if Wright's forced to miss a chunk of time at the start of the year, his will likely become a cautionary tale for players contemplating joining the tournament in future years.
