Update: Phelps was recalled Wednesday, the Yankees' official Twitter page reports.
Recommendation: It looks like Phelps will get another chance to start for the Yanks, but when is still unknown. Phelps struck out eight batters in just 4.1 innings in his last start for New York back on July 4, and he's recorded two shutouts in the minors since then. D.J. Mitchell was sent to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to open room for Phelps.
