Curry shot 5-15 from the field, including 4-9 on 3-point attempts. He also put up 3 steals. Other key performers for Golden State were David Lee with 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Andrew Bogut with 12 points and 20 rebounds. Despite the loss, Nick Young put up 20 points off the bench for Los Angeles on 5-18 shooting (1-6 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 9-12 from the free throw line. Chris Kaman contributed 10 points and 17 rebounds.
In addition to 20.0% from 3-point range, the Lakers tallied an eFG% of just 35.0%. They are winless (0-2) on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Warriors, conversely, are 7-2 when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.
This drops Los Angeles (13-14) to 1-2 against Golden State on the year.
