David Beckham and Landon Dovovan Video Reactions to 4-0 Seattle Loss

The Seattle Sounders thrashed the LA Galaxy 4-0 with three second-half goals in front of an MLS season-high crowd of 60,908 at CenturyLink Field. The loss ended the Galaxy's five-game unbeaten streak.

Eddie Johnson tallied his 10th goal of the year in the sixth minute to give Seattle a 1-0 lead. Fredy Montero, Alex Caskey and Andy Rose scored in the second stanza to round out the scoring for the home side.

LA head coach Bruce Arena thought a non-call in the penalty area by referee Chris Penso minutes after Seattle's tally could have changed the final result.

Man of the Match: Eddie Johnson

The first-year Sounder goal was his seventh header of the year. Johnson also tied Montero's record of 10 goals in 19 matches.

"One of the things I put down as my goal is be consistent. The best players in the world are consistent week in and week out and in this league Chris Wondolowski is a perfect example. To score that many goals year after year is something that's hard to do."--Eddie Johnson, Sounders FC forward

    Missed Penalty

"It changes the game, no question about it. That's part of playing in this league. You have to deal with the officiating."--Bruce Arena, LA Galaxy head coach

    Tough Night for Josh Saunders

The Galaxy 'keeper struggled in the nets. Saunders failed to smother a couple of the balls in front of the net that led to two Seattle tallies.

"Just a couple breakdowns, some breakaways. We tried to make contact and win the ball out of the air and unfortunately the ball went to them. A couple good shots here and there, that's what the difference was."--Josh Saunders, LA Galaxy goalkeeper
