Davante Adams gains 50 yards in Week 2 win
Packers rookie receiver Davante Adams caught five of his seven targets for 50 yards in his team's 31-24 win over the Jets Sunday.
The Packers turned to Adams after a bad drop by Jarrett Boykin, and the rookie had a key catch-and-run late in the first half to give the team first-and-goal with 15 seconds left on the clock. Adams was denied a touchdown in the third quarter when he was ruled to be down at the one-yard line on a reception virtually on the goal line. It was a nice performance after he played on just nine snaps in Week 1.
The Packers head to Detroit in Week 3 to face the Lions.
