Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Smith and the Ravens came to terms on a four-year, $16.1 million contract Friday morning.
Smith—a ten-year veteran who turns 32-years-old today—started all 16 regular season games for the Ravens in 2013, amassing 123 tackles, a career-high 5.0 sacks, three interceptions and 18 passes defensed. The second-round selection out of Georgia Tech spent the first nine years of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars before joining the Ravens last offseason.
With Smith under contract, let’s watch to see if Baltimore can close the show on getting free agent wide receiver Steve Smith in a Ravens uniform.
