Update: Milicic will reportedly be amnestied by the Timberwolves, ESPN's Ric Bucher reports.
Recommendation: In order to create enough cap room to sign restricted free agent Nicolas Batum to an offer sheet, the Wolves plan to shed Milicic and the remaining two years and $10 million on his contract. The Blazers had previously expressed a desire to match any offer for Batum, so it's still possible that a Milicic move could be for naught.
