Lillard finished 11-21 from the field, including 2-6 from three-point range. Other top contributors for Portland included Will Barton with 17 points and six rebounds, Nicolas Batum with 14 points and 14 rebounds, and Wesley Matthews with 10 points and eight rebounds. Despite the loss, Tony Parker scored 14 points for San Antonio on 6-12 shooting from the field and 2-4 from the free throw line. Kawhi Leonard added 11 points and seven rebounds.
In a matchup between elite defenses, Portland reigned supreme. They ranked fifth in the NBA in defensive efficiency this season (110.7), and held San Antonio to just .91 points per possession in Game 4.
Not quite eliminated yet, Portland heads back to San Antonio looking to make this a series with its second win. San Antonio failed to close out the Conference Semifinals on the road in this, but now have an opportunity to do so in front of the home crowd.
