DeMarco Murray had a big night running the football, but it wasn't enough to avoid a tough loss for the Cowboys against the Bears, 45-28, in Chicago.
Tony Romo lit up the Bears for three scores on 11 of 20 passing for 104 yards and no interceptions. Josh McCown finished 27 for 36 with 348 yards passing, five touchdowns (4 pass, 1 rush) and no interceptions for the Bears.
Murray was a bright spot for the Cowboys, running for 146 yards on 18 carries. Jason Witten snagged one ball for 10 yards with a touchdown.
The Dallas defense surrendered 149 yards rushing and 348 passing. They brought down McCown for one sack.
Bears running back Matt Forte was impressive, churning out 102 yards rushing, 73 receiving and one touchdown. After McCown, he was the top performer for Chicago. Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery also had a good game with 84 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Next week, the Cowboys host the Packers (6-6) while the Bears head to Cleveland to face the Browns (4-9).
