Tony Romo had a big day passing, leading the way to a win for the Cowboys against the Vikings, 27-23, at home.
Romo was a respectable 34 for 51 with 337 yards passing, two touchdowns and one pick. In comparison, Christian Ponder went 25 of 37 with 236 yards passing, two touchdowns (1 pass, 1 rush), one pick and one fumble for the Vikings.
DeMarco Murray ran for 31 yards on four carries while adding six receptions for 19 yards. Jason Witten was a top receiver, catching eight balls for 102 yards with a touchdown.
The Dallas defense had a decent day, highlighted by giving up 169 yards rushing and 236 passing while taking back one fumble for a touchdown. They brought down Ponder for two sacks.
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson had a big day with 140 yards rushing, 37 receiving and one touchdown. Tight end Kyle Rudolph also had a noteworthy performance with 35 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Cowboys travel to New Orleans next week to meet the Saints (6-1) while the Vikings are at home to take on the Redskins (2-5).
