The Cowboys were edged by the Lions, 31-30, in Detroit.
Tony Romo found the end zone three times on 14 of 30 passing for 206 yards and no interceptions. Matthew Stafford also played quite well, and wound up 33 for 48 with 488 yards passing, two touchdowns (1 pass, 1 rush) and two picks.
Joseph Randle ran for 26 yards on 14 attempts in addition to three receptions for 18 yards. Dez Bryant was a top performer, snagging three balls for 72 yards while adding two touchdowns.
The Dallas defense collapsed, giving up 480 yards passing and 143 rushing. They brought down Stafford for one sack.
Finally, Dan Bailey was perfect, connecting on all three of his field goal attempts.
Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson was impressive, churning out 329 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Reggie Bush also had a good game with 92 rushing yards, 30 receiving and one touchdown.
The Cowboys are at home to take on the Vikings (1-5) next week while the Lions travel to Chicago to meet the Bears (4-3).
