The Cowboys handled the Redskins, 31-16, at home.
Tony Romo completed the game 18 for 30 with 170 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick. In comparison, Robert Griffin III went 19 of 39 with 246 yards passing, no touchdowns, one pick and one fumble for the Redskins.
DeMarco Murray rushed for 29 yards on seven attempts with a touchdown in addition to two receptions for 21 yards. Jason Witten caught three balls for 27 yards.
The Dallas defense was the difference in the victory, allowing 216 yards rushing and 217 passing. They got to Griffin III for three sacks.
Redskins running back Alfred Morris gave a standout effort with 81 yards rushing and one touchdown. Running back Roy Helu Jr. also had a good game with 42 rushing yards and 35 receiving.
The Cowboys travel to Philadelphia next week to meet the Eagles (3-3) while the Redskins are at home to take on the Bears (4-2).
