Adams, Moss will enjoy the platoon advantage on Thursday
Cards’ lefty bats Brandon Moss and Matt Adams look particularly enticing for Thursday’s DFS slate.

My full lineup (for all games starting after 4 pm PT):

SP: Madison Bumgarner ($56) – Bumgarner has run off 13 consecutive Quality Starts and sits with Clayton Kershaw as the only two starters with a sub-2.00 ERA at the moment. He’ll oppose Oakland rookie LHP Dillon Overton, who allowed three home runs in his 5.2 inning MLB debut last time out

SP: Jake Odorizzi ($41) – Odorizzi will be at home (3.04 ERA), where his ERA is nearly two runs better than his road mark (4.93), and he’s facing Detroit RHP Jordan Zimmermann, who has produced a generous 6.48 ERA over his past seven starts

C: Willson Contreras ($14) – Small price to pay for a catcher that is actually a legit threat with a bat in his hands

1B: Matt Adams ($12) – Adams, who has hit eight of his nine home runs against righties, faces Kansas City RHP Chris Young, who has allowed 14 home runs to lefty hitters, three more than any other pitcher in the league

2B: Jose Peraza ($7) – Peraza, hitting .364 with three stolen bases in his past four games, is a solid bottom-dollar play, especially against Washington LHP Gio Gonzalez, who has a 6.79 ERA over his past 10 starts

3B: Anthony Rendon ($14) – Rendon is a slump-busting 7-for-18 (.389) in his past five games and owns a .298 BA this season against southpaws – he’ll face Cincy LHP Brandon Finnegan

SS: Asdrubel Cabrera ($12) – Cabrera is hitting .357 with a home run in his past 14 ABs vs. Chicago RHP John Lackey

OF: Seth Smith ($10) – Smith is coming off a two-hit game on Wednesday night and faces Baltimore RHP Chris Tillman, who he is 3-for-10 against in his career

OF: Brandon Moss ($17) – More home run fishing in the Cardinals player pool as Moss has hit all 16 of his home runs against righties and, as mentioned above, KC RHP Chris Young has allowed a league-high 14 home runs to lefty bats

OF: Christian Yelich ($16) – Yelich, who faces Atlanta RHP Mike Foltynewicz, owns a .904 OPS against righties this season and comes into this contest with multiple hits in three straight games
