A player for Division III Wittenberg was killed Monday and three teammates were injured when they were involved in a crash on Interstate 75 in Shelby County, Ohio.

Miles Laboy, a wide receiver who was set to be a sophomore in 2016, was ejected from the car, driven by Rashon Edwards. Laboy, 18, was thrown from the car when the vehicle went into the median and then rolled, per the Dayton Daily News and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Dorian Hunter was also thrown from the car and was listed in serious condition while Aikili Moseley was in stable condition. Per the report in the Daily News, Edwards was the only person in the vehicle who was wearing a seatbelt and all three surviving players are expected to recover.

Driver fatigue is being suspected as a cause for the accident. The four players were returning to campus after attending the Electric Forest Festival in Michigan over the weekend. Wittenberg is located in Springfield, Ohio.
