D.J. Augustin, Joakim Noah carry Bulls by Heat

In a spectacular all-around effort, Joakim Noah scored 20 points and recorded 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 blocks to help the Chicago Bulls beat the Miami Heat, 95-88. This is the seventh win for Chicago (35-28) in its last 10 games.

Noah went 9-16 from the field. Jimmy Butler also contributed for Chicago, finishing with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Dwyane Wade had another strong game for Miami in the loss, putting up 25 points on 7-16 shooting from the field and 11-12 from the free throw line.

In a matchup of strength versus strength, the Heat offense did not have its best game, struggling to make shots against a Bulls defense that ranks second-best in the NBA at forcing misses (47.3% opponents' eFG%). Despite finishing with an eFG% of 45.3% in this game, they rank first in the NBA in that metric at 56.0% this season.

Miami (43-17) has now lost three straight games.

Coming up next, the Bulls square off with the San Antonio Spurs, who are 46-16 on the year. The Heat meet the Washington Wizards, currently 33-29 this season. The Bulls are 1-0 versus San Antonio this season. The Heat have a 1-1 record against Washington this season.
