D-Backs' Hill out 4-6 weeks with broken hand

Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Aaron Hill is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a broken bone in his left hand.

Hill was hit by a pitch April 9, but returned after X-rays came back negative, and made pinch-hitting appearances on April 13 and 14. He was batting .306 with two homers and six RBIs in the team's first 10 games.

An MRI taken Monday night revealed the break. The team placed him on the disabled list and summoned shortstop prospect Didi Gregorius from Triple-A Reno, where he was hitting .387 in seven games.
