Cushing out for year with torn ACL

National Football Post

The Houston Texans confirmed on Tuesday that linebacker Brian Cushing will be out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL, suffered in Monday night's win over the New York Jets.

Cushing was replaced in the lineup by Tim Dobbins, the Texans special teams captain. However, replacing his leadership could be a little tougher for the undefeated Texans.
