Jordan Crawford came off the bench and scored 41 points to help the Golden State Warriors slip by the Denver Nuggets, 116-112. Golden State (51-31) has now won back-to-back games after defeating Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.
Crawford finished 16-28 from the field (2-8 on 3-point attempts) in a strong performance. Other key performers for Golden State were Harrison Barnes with 30 points and five rebounds, Marreese Speights with 11 points and six rebounds, and Hilton Armstrong with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Randy Foye had a strong performance for Denver in the loss, scoring 32 points on 10-21 shooting (3-10 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 9-12 from the free throw line. He also recorded 11 assists. Kenneth Faried chipped in 15 points and 13 rebounds.
This drops Denver (36-46) to 2-2 against Golden State on the year.
