Cowboys WR Dez Bryant could need season-ending surgery on his finger. He went to see a hand specialist Monday afternoon, the team’s website reported.
The Cowboys are hopeful Bryant did not tear any ligaments and can finish out the season.
In 13 games and 12 starts this season, Bryant has 75 catches for 1,028 yards and nine touchdowns. He has seven touchdowns in the last five games. The Cowboys are 7-6, one game back in the NFC East and for the NFC wild card.
The injury apparently occurred on Bryant’s 27-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s come-from-behind win over the Bengals, though he didn’t leave the game.
