Veteran tight end Dante Rosario signed with the Dallas Cowboys on Monday. Rosario had a workout with the team Friday.
The Cowboys brought back their top two tight ends from the 2012 roster, Jason Witten and James Hanna, and drafted Gavin Escobar in the second round.
Rosario was the third tight end with the Chargers last season and caught 10 passes for 95 yards with three touchdowns -- scoring all three in one game on Sept. 15.
To create a roster spot, the Cowboys released tight end Paul Freedman.
