Last week, the Cowboys lost by a slender 37-36 margin against the Packers. Tony Romo had 358 yards passing, completing 29 of 48 attempts with two touchdowns and two interceptions. DeMarco Murray also had a solid game, carrying the rock 18 times for 134 yards and one touchdown. In their previous game, the Redskins lost a narrow 27-26 game versus the Falcons. Kirk Cousins scored three times in addition to going 29 for 45 for 381 yards and two picks. Another strong showing came from Pierre Garcon, who caught seven balls for 129 yards and one touchdown.
Washington figures to see a step-up in its passing game with the Cowboys' pass defense ranked worst in the league, giving up an average of 312.5 yards per contest.
