Cousins and Thomas combine for 62, Kings defeat Bucks

DeMarcus Cousins put up 32 points and recorded 12 rebounds, while Isaiah Thomas added 30 points and 8 assists to help the Sacramento Kings beat the Milwaukee Bucks, 124-107. The Kings were on fire in this one, going 44-86 (51.2%) from the field and 29-36 (80.6%) at the free throw line. Sacramento (25-45) picked up the win after falling to San Antonio Spurs on Friday.

Cousins finished 14-19 from the field, in a strong performance. Rudy Gay also contributed for Sacramento, finishing with 24 points and 8 rebounds. On 9-14 shooting, including 2-6 from behind the arc, O.J. Mayo put up 21 points off the bench for Milwaukee in the loss.

Along with their eFG% of 55.2%, the Kings posted a FTA rate of 41.9. This season, they are 4-1 when they exceed 55% and 35.0 in those respective metrics. Conversely, the Bucks are winless (0-6) when allowing their opponents to hit those marks.

Milwaukee (13-57) has now lost seven in a row.
