The Memphis Grizzlies slipped by the Los Angeles Lakers, 108-103. Memphis (32-24) picked up the win after falling to Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday.
Courtney Lee put up 18 points on 6-10 shooting from the field (2-5 from behind the arc) and 4-5 from the free throw line, in a good performance. Memphis also got solid performances from Tony Allen with 17 points and 6 rebounds, Marc Gasol with 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Zach Randolph with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Despite the loss, Jodie Meeks scored 19 points for Los Angeles on 7-10 shooting, including 2-4 from behind the arc.
Los Angeles (19-39) has now lost three in a row.
Coming up, the Grizzlies square off with the Oklahoma City Thunder, who are 43-15 on the season. The Lakers meet the Sacramento Kings, currently sitting at 20-37 this year. The Grizzlies have lost two of their last three meetings with Oklahoma City. The Lakers have come away with a win the last two games against Sacramento.
