Corey Hart: Will Miss Season's First Six Weeks

Rotowire.com
Update: Hart will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his knee Tuesday and will miss at least the first six weeks of the regular season, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Recommendation: The cause of Hart's latest knee injury can not be traced to one specific event, but the joint wore down and swelled up during the offseason, and a recent exam indicated that surgery was needed to repair the issues. With Hart needing 3-to-4 months to recover from the procedure, Mat Gamel will enter the 2013 campaign as the Brewers' starting first baseman.
