Manhattan is on a mission this season.

The Jaspers won the MAAC regular season title by two games last season. However, they fell short of advancing to an NCAA regional.

Marist had that honor after winning the MAAC tournament.

The Jaspers once again are expected to win the MAAC regular season title. Canisius, Marist and Rider follow them.

Manhattan is our pick to advance to an NCAA regional this season.

Also keep an eye on Canisius, which finished last season with a 16-8 record and a second place finish.

Binghamton captured the regular season and tournament title last season.

The Bearcats are aiming for back-to-back conference crowns this season. They also are the favorite to win another title.

The America East will have a new look this season without Vermont, which dropped its program after last season.

Stony Brook, Maine and Albany follow the Bearcats in the pecking order.

Maine is the best candidate to surprise. The Black Bears finished fifth in conference last season, but welcome back enough key cogs this season to make a statement.

Bryant officially joins the NEC after compiling a 32-22 record as a Division I Independent last season.

Monmouth is expected to finish No. 2 behind Wagner and Sacred Heart, which finished second last season, is expected to slide to fifth.
