UTICA, N.Y. -- In a game filled with familiar faces, it was the Chicago Wolves former players that bested the current squad as the Utica Comets topped Chicago 2-1 Tuesday night at Utica Memorial Auditorium.

The Comets (13-20-2-3), current affiliate of Chicago's previous partner, the Vancouver Canucks, boasted nine former Wolves players in the lineup. Both of Utica's goal scorers -- right winger Nicklas Jensen and defenseman Frank Corrado -- spent two seasons in Chicago.

Rookie right wing Ty Rattie opened scoring 1:26 into the second period to extend his four-game point streak and give the Wolves (21-15-2-2) the lead. Defenseman Taylor Chorney rifled a shot on net that Rattie tipped, changing the speed and direction of the puck to beat Utica goaltender Joacim Eriksson.

Utica knotted the score later that period, receiving a goal from Jensen at 13:03. Linemate Benn Ferriero moved the puck around the back of the net, sending a pass to the front of the cage. Center Cal O'Reilly redirected the puck to Jensen, who whipped a shot stick-side.

With the score knotted late in the third period, Chicago surrendered the game-winner. Corrado skated the puck along the wall and released an angled shot that evaded goaltender Jake Allen's glove at 14:14.

Allen (16-10-2) kicked out 28 saves and suffered the loss, while Eriksson (9-11-1) made 22 stops on the night.
