The New York Red Bulls came back from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw with the Columbus Crew and extend their undefeated streak to three matches.
Jairo Arrieta put the home side ahead late in the first half. Kosuke Kimura fouled Justin Meram in the box, and Arrieta smashed the spot kick off the underside of the crossbar to make it 1-0.
Bradley Wright-Phillips continued his recent stellar form with an equalizer in the 66th minute. Displaying excellent control, he collected Lloyd Sam's cross with a touch to move the ball in front of him and unleashed a shot across goal and inside the far post.
New York is now 2-2-5 on the season and hasn't lost since Apr. 12. Columbus' records now stands at 3-1-3.
