The Columbus Crew took a 1-0 win over the Portland Timbers on Sunday, thanks to an early goal from Bernardo Anor.
Just five minutes into the match Anor got on the end of a corner and headed it into the lower corner, giving his team a lead it would never relinquish.
Things got worse for the Timbers in the 11th minute, as the team's terrible start to the match saw Pa-Modou Kah receive a straight red and concede a penalty after being beaten to a ball in his own box. Federico Higuain pulled his penalty wide of the mark to save Portland from being two goals down, but playing almost 80 minutes a man down would be punishment enough.
Even without the second goal, the rest of the match was comfortable for the Crew, who held onto the slim advantage and took all three points.
