Colts waive 11 players

The Indianapolis Colts announced Sunday that they waived 11 players and reduced their roster to 78.

The Colts waived cornerback Johnny Adams, cornerback Allen Chapman, guard Danous Estenor, defensive tackle Kellen Heard, place kicker Brandon McManus, running back Davin Meggett, linebacker C.O. Prime, center Rick Schmeig and safety Ashante Williams.

Wide receiver Maurice Williams was waived with an injury settlement and cornerback Teddy Williams was waived-injured. The Colts also placed linebacker Lawrence Sidbury on injured reserve.

Teams have until Tuesday to pare their rosters down to 75 players.
