Several NFL analysts are predicting the Colts to go to the Super Bowl this year.

At the Colts kickoff luncheon recently, Hall of Fame and former Colts running back Marshall Faulk asked future Hall of Fame and current Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri what keeps motivating him.  What ring is the sweetest?

"This next one is going to be the sweetest one," Vinatieri replied.  The four-time Super Bowl champion is going for that next ring this year, and it's not an unrealistic goal either.

"It's there for you," Faulk told the Colts during the luncheon.  "The opportunity to accomplish the ultimate dream, to have that feeling as a team. There's no better feeling to the guys that are in this room, to the coaches that are in this room than that day, when you win. That 11-5 record last year was great but there's a bigger goal in mind...and that's starting the season in Denver and ending the season in Arizona."

Colts fans can sometimes get so caught up in the struggles and negatives that we miss the big picture, and in the big picture the Colts have Andrew Luck.  And with him, the Super Bowl isn't impossible.  In fact, according to several NFL analysts, it's likely.

Wrote Sporting News' Vinnie Iyer:

"The Indianapolis Colts have their share of weaknesses in the weaker of the two NFL conferences, the AFC. But armed with the league's most favorable schedule in 2014 and more important, Andrew Luck, they are set up to get back to Super Bowl for the first time in five years."

NFL.com's Michael Silver picks the Colts to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl as well.  In Sports Illustrated's NFL season preview, Peter King revealed his pick as the Packers and the Colts in the Super Bowl.

Look, we all know that the Colts aren't the favorites to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl by any means, but to say they don't have a good chance is naive.  The AFC is really three good teams and then a group of others who could potentially have good years - but it'll most likely be either the Broncos, Patriots, or Colts representing the conference in the Super Bowl.  The one constant theme of all three teams is that they all have very good quarterbacks.  Luck isn't quite to the level of Peyton Manning or Tom Brady yet, but he could get there this year - especially if the Colts coaches let him.  If Luck has the great year many expect, the Colts going to the Super Bowl is a very real possibility.  Some analysts are predicting it.
