Colts promote Hills, waive Adams

Offensive tackle Tony Hills was elevated from the practice squad by the Indianapolis Colts, who waived wide receiver Kris Adams.

Hills, 6-5, 304 pounds, is a fifth-year veteran who began his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers before playing for the Denver Broncos in 2011. He joined the Colts' practice squad Sept. 18.
