Breaking news:

Colts S Landry not cleared to practice

The SportsXchange

Indianapolis Colts safety LaRon Landry was not cleared to practice Tuesday after suffering a concussion last Saturday as the team prepares for the divisional playoff game against the New England Patriots.

Landry suffered a concussion in Saturday's wild-card playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Landry took a knee to the helmet while trying to make a tackle. A teammate then smacked Landry in the helmet several times to congratulate him for making the play.

Since Landry is in the concussion protocol, he will have to be cleared by an independent neurologist to practice and separately to play Saturday night against the Patriots.
