Colts Crushed by Cowboys, 42-7
The Colts turned it over three times, managed only 229 yards of offense and were pounded by the Cowboys, 42-7, in Arlington.
Andrew Luck couldn't reach the end zone as he went 15 for 22 passing for only 109 yards and two picks. Tony Romo put up better numbers for the Cowboys, and ended up going 18 of 20 with 218 yards through the air, four touchdowns and no interceptions.
Dan Herron rushed for three yards on seven carries in addition to three receptions for 37 yards. Hakeem Nicks snagged nine passes for 72 yards.
The Indianapolis defense surrendered 127 yards rushing and 261 passing. They registered a single sack on Romo.
Cowboys tight end Jason Witten could not be contained, putting up 90 receiving yards and one touchdown. After Romo, he was the top performer for Dallas. Wide receiver Terrance Williams was also solid with 52 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The Colts travel to Nashville next week to meet the Titans (2-13) while the Cowboys visit Landover to take on the Redskins (4-11).
