Colorado rolls to 87-69 victory over Washington

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) Carlon Brown scored 18 points and Colorado used balanced scoring to defeat Washington 87-69 on Thursday night.

Spencer Dinwiddie and Austin Dufault had 13 points each Colorado (10-4, 2-0 Pac-12), which had five players in double figures. Askia Booker added 12 and Nate Tomlinson 11 for the Buffaloes, who won their fifth straight.

Tony Wroten led Washington (8-6, 2-1) with 21 points. C.J. Wilcox had 19 and Terrence Ross 13 for the Huskies, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.

Washington has dropped all three of its road games this season.

The Huskies made a minor dent in a 10-point halftime deficit when Ross made two layups in the first two minutes to cut the lead to 42-36. The Buffaloes regained a double-digit edge, 48-37, on a fast-break basket by Tomlinson and a free throw by Dinwiddie with 16:46 left, and Washington never threatened again.
