JL probably wanted Clark since he had more interaction with recruits than he did, at least that is what it seemed like. Would not be surprised to see us lose a couple recruits to them. Losing both hurts, hope MM finds some solid replacements. I wonder if this was part of the reason players lacked emotion the past month....having 2 of your coaches make lateral moves (even with raises) to a conference opponent, that you beat, can not leave a good taste in your mouth.

No way this is a surprise. i think everyone knew he was gone before the game, but he agreed to stay on and coach.I remember one picture earlier this week with all the coaches, but Clark.I sure would like to be proactive, and not reactive.

The older I get the more it annoys that coaching changes are allowed in season. Seems like this could be fixed by pushing back signing day and not allowing hires before the end of bowl season. Absurd transfer restrictions for athletes, no problem. Ask coaches to have even 1 restriction and its a violation of the free market...
