Cole Miller Calls Out Donald Cerrone, “Lay Off Them Cheeseburgers and Twinkies” and Fight

Cole Miller is healing a broken hand but still wants to fight Conor McGregor

Cole Miller and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone have been locked in a war of words for several years now, dating all the way back to when Cerrone was fighting in the WEC and Miller in the UFC.

With both now under the UFC banner, you’d think they could finally settle their war of words with some fisticuffs in the Octagon, but shortly after Cerrone came to the UFC, Miller dropped down to featherweight.

Before his last fight, however, Cerrone mentioned dropping down to 145 pounds for future fights. It was a comment not lost on Miller, who still wants a shot at Cerrone.

Miller quickly dispatched Sam Sicilia with a rear naked choke at UFC Fight Night 35 on Wednesday night in Georgia, and he wasted no time locking his sights squarely on Cerrone in his post-fight comments.

“I’m trying to come up with some of these contenders; there’s one guy in particular,” he said while still standing in the center of the Octagon. “I think everyone knows who it is. It’s you, Donald ‘Tomboy’ Cerrone. You been talking about coming down to 145, come on down.”

Miller said he was even willing to take on the financial burden for Cerrone, eliminating any excuses for him to make the drop.

“I tell you what I’m gonna do,” Miller continued. “I’m gonna send Mike Dolce over to you and you can put the bill on me. He’s probably gonna tell you the same thing I’m gonna tell you: lay off them cheeseburgers and Twinkies homie.”
