The Los Angeles Clippers list forward Blake Griffin as day to day because of an ankle injury that forced him out of Game 5 in an NBA first-round playoff series with Memphis on Tuesday night.
Grifflin left in the third quarter with a high ankle sprain that he had suffered during practice on Monday and did not return to the game. The Clippers fell to the Grizzlies 103-93 and face a 3-2 deficit in the best-of-seven series.
Game 6 in set for Friday night in Memphis.
"As the game went on, it got worse," Griffin said. "I was in the weight room on the treadmill; they just had me walk just to keep it loose and not just sit there."
He ended up playing 20 minutes but was limited to four points and five rebounds.
