Clippers F Griffin unlikely to play Wednesday night

Forward Blake Griffin apparently will miss a second consecutive game with a hamstring strain when the Los Angeles Clippers play the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night.

The team listed Griffin as a game-time decision, but there were multiple reports that Griffin will sit out the game in Orlando. He did not participate in the Clippers' morning shootaround.

On Monday night, Griffin's string of 197 consecutive starts ended when he was sidelined for a game against the Washington Wizards with the strained left hamstring. Griffin last played Sunday in a loss to the Boston Celtics.

The Clippers said Griffin would be re-evaluated Thursday, leaving his status in doubt for Friday's game against the Heat in Miami.

Already out of the lineup for the Clippers are guards Chris Paul (bruised right kneecap) and Chauncey Billups (tendinitis in left foot). Paul has missed nine straight games. Billups has seen action in only three games this season.
