Rivalries:

Pittsburgh Steelers:

The Steelers are the primary rival for the Browns but due to their less than stellar performance in recent years, it has cooled a bit for Pittsburgh. Known as one of the oldest in the AFC, the proximity between the two teams is among the primary reasons for the mutual dislike.

Cincinnati Bengals:

This rivalry stems primarily due to the animosity between Paul Brown and Art Modell but in more recent times reflects the in-state rivalry between both teams.

Baltimore Ravens:

This rivalry is mostly one-sided and directed more at former owner Art Modell than the Ravens' team itself due to the relocation controversy in 1995. For Baltimore it is nothing more than another divisional matchup.
