The Browns gave up scoring plays of 83 yards, 54 yards, 45 yards, 40 yards, and 70 yards and dropped one to the Bears, 38-31, at home.
Jason Campbell completed 23 of 39 passes for 273 yards, one touchdown and two picks. Jay Cutler completed 22 of 31 passes for 265 yards, three touchdowns and two picks for the Bears.
Edwin Baker gained 38 yards on eight carries with a touchdown in addition to four receptions for 46 yards. Josh Gordon caught three passes for 67 yards with a touchdown.
The Cleveland defense did all it could in the loss, bringing back one interception and one fumble for touchdowns. They sacked Cutler two times.
Bears running back Matt Forte had a big game, putting up 127 yards rushing. Wide receiver Brandon Marshall also had a good game with 95 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Browns head to East Rutherford next week to face off with the Jets (6-7) while the Bears travel to Philadelphia to play the Eagles (8-5).
