MLB trade deadline digest:

Clayton Kershaw: No More Hip Pain

Rotowire.com
Update: Kershaw said recently that the right hip that bothered him toward the end of last season hasn't presented any issues this winter, the Los Angeles Times reports. "It was never a problem for me," Kershaw said at a charity event.

Recommendation: The 24-year-old southpaw added a workout program designed to strengthen the hip this offseason, but it sounds like a non-issue heading into 2013. Kershaw has been able to go through his typical throwing program, and threw a bullpen session Saturday at the team's spring training complex. The Dodgers are reportedly looking into the possibility of wrapping up Kershaw long-term prior to the start of spring training.
