The Bengals scored on plays of 80 yards and 53 yards and pounded the hapless Browns, 41-20, at home.
Andy Dalton picked apart the Browns for three touchdowns on 13 of 27 passing for 93 yards and two picks. On the Browns side, Jason Campbell went 27 for 56 with 248 yards passing, one touchdown and three picks.
Giovani Bernard rushed for 45 yards on 10 carries in addition to four receptions for 41 yards. Jermaine Gresham caught two passes for 27 yards with a touchdown.
The Cincinnati defense was the deciding factor in the victory, giving up 102 yards rushing and 248 passing while taking back one fumble for a touchdown. They harassed Campbell and the Browns offensive line with an imposing four sacks.
Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon gave a standout effort with 125 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Chris Ogbonnaya also gave a strong effort with 69 rushing yards and 30 receiving.
The Bengals travel to San Diego next week to meet the Chargers (4-6) while the Browns are at home to take on the Steelers (4-6).
