Bengals Sneak By Lions, 27-24

Andy Dalton had a big day through the air, leading the way to a tight win for the Bengals over the Lions, 27-24, in Detroit.

Dalton lit up the Lions for three scores on 24 of 34 passing for 372 yards and no interceptions. Matthew Stafford gave his best effort to keep the Lions competitive, going 28 of 51 with 357 yards passing, three touchdowns and no interceptions.

Giovani Bernard carried the ball seven times for 27 yards while adding five receptions for 32 yards. A.J. Green was a top receiver, catching six passes for 155 yards with a touchdown.

The Cincinnati defense had a tough time defending the passing attack, but was able to slow down the run, giving up 77 yards rushing and 357 passing.

Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson provided some spark with 155 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Running back Reggie Bush also had a noteworthy performance with 50 rushing yards and 44 receiving.

Next week, the Bengals are at home against the Jets (3-3) while the Lions play the Cowboys (3-3), also at home.
