Andy Dalton had a big day through the air, leading the way to a late victory for the Bengals over the Bills, 27-24, in Orchard Park.
Dalton punished the Bills for three scores on 26 of 40 passing for 337 yards and one pick. Thaddeus Lewis went 19 of 32 with 216 yards passing, three touchdowns (2 pass, 1 rush) and one fumble for the Bills.
Giovani Bernard had a tough game, rushing for 28 yards on 15 attempts while adding six receptions for 72 yards and a score. A.J. Green was a weapon for the offense, catching six balls for 103 yards with a touchdown.
The Cincinnati defense allowed 130 yards rushing and 192 passing. They harassed Lewis and the Bills offensive line with an imposing five sacks.
Bills tight end Scott Chandler had a productive game with 47 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin also gave a strong effort with 51 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Bengals head to Detroit next week to face off with the Lions (4-2) while the Bills travel to Miami Gardens to play the Dolphins (3-2).
