Los Angeles also got solid performances from Blake Griffin with 18 points and 13 rebounds, and DeAndre Jordan with 16 points and 15 rebounds. On 9-13 shooting, including 4-5 from behind the arc, Vince Carter put up 23 points off the bench for Dallas in the loss. Monta Ellis contributed 12 points and 7 assists.
In a matchup of first-rate offenses, the unit of Los Angeles (ranked second in the NBA in offensive efficiency) came out on top, scoring 1.10 points per possession.
Dallas (43-30) has now dropped three straight games versus Los Angeles.
