After quitting the cast of Dance Moms three years ago, Chloe Lukasiak made an emotional appearance on last night's season 7 winter finale that has fans wondering whether the 15-year-old star could be coming back officially.

You might remember that Chloe's 2014 exit from the reality series - and from instructor Abby Lee Miller's dance troupe - wasn't exactly on friendly terms. A member of the company since age 10, Chloe often found herself in the firing line of Abby's harsh critiques. Chloe left the show after an incident in which Abby reportedly mocked the appearance of her eye - later discovered by doctors to be the result of a sinus collapse.

Now it seems Chloe has left some of those bad memories in the past. On last night's episode, she admitted she misses competing alongside her Dance Moms besties, including Nia Sioux, Paige Hyland and Mackenzie Ziegler. "That's kind of who I am," Chloe explained to her mom, Christi. "That's who I grew up with."

So Chloe came up with an idea: She would surprise her former Abby Lee Dance Company teammates by visiting them at the Nationals competition in Pittsburgh - even if there was one encounter she was dreading. "I don't want to see Abby," she declared.

Chloe happily crashed the event - and as luck would have it, Abby wasn't around when Chloe arrived.

She had a tearful reunion with her old friend Nia, a moment that would make anyone's heart grow about ten sizes.

Then Chloe revealed that she doesn't miss competing; she's actually considering a return to the circuit.

Since leaving Dance Moms, Chloe has been focused largely on movie roles - including a star turn in a remake of the dance classic Center Stage - but it's never too late to come back, right?

The midseason finale didn't reveal whether Chloe would return. That decision seems to hinge on whether Abby - who is currently facing jail time for a fraud conviction - continues with the show. "If we could remove Abby from the picture, that would be a whole different story," Chloe's mom said.

At any rate, based on how emotional Chloe looked while watching her former teammates in action, it's safe to guess she'd love nothing more than to dance beside them again.
