Chiefs Fall to Steelers, 20-12
The Chiefs fell to the Steelers, 20-12, in Pittsburgh.
Alex Smith finished 31 for 45 with 311 yards, no interceptions and no scores. Ben Roethlisberger finished 18 for 25 with 220 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Steelers.
Jamaal Charles rushed for 29 yards on nine carries in addition to five receptions for 48 yards with one fumble. Albert Wilson snagged five passes for 87 yards.
The Kansas City defense surrendered 68 yards rushing and 220 passing. They got to Roethlisberger once for a sack.
Finally, Cairo Santos was perfect, connecting on all four of his field goal attempts.
Steelers tight end Heath Miller had a big game, putting up 68 receiving yards. Wide receiver Antonio Brown also put together a noteworthy performance with 72 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Chiefs are at home to take on the Chargers (9-6) next week while the Steelers will meet the Bengals (9-4), also at home.
