Dwayne Bowe said his life changed while on vacation with his family on Monday, when the Kansas City Chiefs called to finalize a contract that makes him the third-highest paid wide receiver in the NFL. Bowe's five-year, $56 million deal trumps the five-year, $55.5 million free agent contract Vincent Jackson signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2012. Bowe received a $15 million signing bonus and $26 million of the total contract is guaranteed within the first two years of the deal. He'll have a $750,000 base salary in 2013, $8.75 million in 2014 and $10.75 million in 2015. If he remains on the roster for the 2016 and '17 seasons, he'll have a $9.75 million base salary each year. Only Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald have higher overall and annual salaries than Bowe.
